Chapter 3 · 3.4
Login History: who logged in and when?
In the Login History, you can see when someone logged into your DirectAdmin account and from which IP address. This lets you check that no one else has accessed your account.
Opening the Login History
- Click Hello, followed by your username, in the top right.
- Choose Login History.
You'll land in your profile on the Sessions tab. Your active sessions are shown at the top, with the Login History (1) below. Scroll down to find it.

What does the table show?
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Date (2) | When the login happened. |
| Host (3) | The IP address the login came from. An IPv4 address looks like 203.0.113.25, while an IPv6 address is longer, with colons. |
| Attempts (4) | The number of login attempts at that moment from that address. |
Every time you click DirectAdmin in My WebOké, this also counts as a login. So if you click often, you'll see lots of lines with your own IP address.
How do you know if an IP address is yours?
- You can find your own IP address in My WebOké under Support centre and then Am I blocked?: it's already filled in there.
- At home, at work and on your phone (via 4G or 5G), you usually have a different IP address each time. Your home IP address can also change occasionally.
- If your web developer or a colleague also has access, you'll see their IP addresses too.
You see an IP address you don't trust
- Change your DA password straight away via My WebOké (see Setting or changing your DA password).
- End all other sessions: on the same Sessions tab, click the END ALL OTHERS button (see Logging out and closing safely).
- Check under Login Keys for any keys you don't recognise, and remove them (see Login Keys: logging in for scripts and programs).
- Turn on Two-Step Authentication (see Setting up Two-Step Authentication).
- Go through the rest of the steps in Secure passwords and what to do if a password is leaked.
Tip: Not sure if an address is suspicious? Open a ticket and mention the IP address and the time. We'll take a look with you.
