How do I transfer my domain to WebOké?
A domain registered with another provider is easy to transfer to WebOké. All you need is the transfer code (also called the EPP code or auth code).
How to transfer your domain to WebOké
- Request the transfer code from your current provider. You can usually find it in your provider's client area.
- Go to our domain transfer page and enter your domain name.
- Choose whether you only want to transfer the domain or also order hosting with it, and enter the transfer code while ordering.
- Complete the order in three steps: Configure, Details and Review and pay.
Once you have ordered, we start the transfer straight away. You can follow its status in My Domains, on the Transfer centre tab. Most transfers are completed within a few minutes to a few hours.
Good to know
- Only cancel your old subscription after the transfer has been completed, otherwise the domain may become available to others.
- Are you also moving your website or email to us? Then arrange the hosting first and move your files and email before you start the transfer, so that everything keeps working.
