What are the blackhole forwarders for postmaster and others?

In your list of email forwarders you will find three email addresses that point to :blackhole:. These are postmaster@, abuse@ and webmaster@.

These three email addresses are formally required, but they are really only useful for very large organisations. Because these three addresses attract quite a lot of spam, we redirect them to the so-called :blackhole: address. This simply means that the email is accepted and then goes straight into the bin. If you do want to use these three addresses, you can change them and forward them to an email address of your own. Do make sure the spam filter is switched on.

Please note: the three email addresses must continue to exist!
