How does WebOké block spam?
All our mail servers refuse to accept mail from mail servers listed with SpamCop (www.spamcop.net) or Spamhaus (www.spamhaus.org). This alone keeps well over 65% of all spam out of your mailbox. In exceptional cases someone may try to email you via a mail server that is listed with one of these two spam services. That mail will not be accepted, and the sender gets it back with the reason stating which of the two rejected it. There is nothing we can do about that. It means that mail server has recently been used to send spam. Server administrators usually act quickly to get off that list. The person concerned is best off sending their mail via another mail server for the time being.
The next check we do on mail uses SpamAssassin. Depending on your choice, mail is deleted straight away or placed in a spam box.
